On behalf of Team Sports of Statistics Portugal, I would like to invite you to participate in the 22^nd European Volleyball Tournament for Statisticians taking place from 27^th to 29^th of May 2011 in Portugal, Carcavelos, a village belonging to the municipality of Cascais, situated 30 km from Lisbon.

Carcavelos is integrated in a place of great scenic  beauty, coupled with the attractive cultural and patrimonial wealth so that diverse events resulting in a natural stage par excellence.

The Carcavelos beach is the most known and visited of Carcavelos, sought in summer by bathers throughout the metropolitan area of Lisbon and in winter the locals.
Offers good conditions for practicing sports activities such as surfing, windsurfing, beach volley and sport fishing.
The volleyball fields will be situated approximately 500 meters from the beach as well as from the hotel accommodation.

Em nome do Grupo Desportivo do Instituto Nacional de Estatística permitam-me convidá-los a participar no 22º European Volleyball Tournament for Statisticians que decorrerá de 27 a 29 de Maio de 2011 em Portugal, Carcavelos, uma aldeia pertencente ao município de Cascais, situada a 30 Km de Lisboa.

Carcavelos está integrada num local de grande beleza paisagística, associada à riqueza cultural e patrimonial, aliciantes para que diversificados eventos decorram num palco natural por excelência.

A Praia de Carcavelos é o local mais conhecido e visitado de Carcavelos, procurada no verão pelos banhistas de toda a zona metropolitana de Lisboa e no inverno pelos moradores locais.

Oferece boas condições para praticar actividades desportivas nomeadamente Surf, Windsurf, Volley de Praia e pesca desportiva.

O hotel para alojamento de todos os participantes e os pavilhões onde decorrerão os jogos situa-se a aproximadamente 500 metros da praia.
